Notes on the use of injection molding robot and common failures
With the increasing popularity of injection molding machine manipulators nowadays, YUBAO manipulators as precise modern intelligent machinery, there are many precautions and common faults in the daily use of injection molding manipulators.
The following will take you to understand, to facilitate you to solve the robot failure in daily use, to ensure the safety and efficiency of factory production.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance
Injection molding robot as a precision intelligent machinery, is the need for fine management and regular maintenance.
Only to maintain the stable and normal operation of the robot can guarantee the productivity of the factory. The cleaning, overhaul and maintenance cycle of the robot includes daily, weekly, quarterly and semi-annually. This daily maintenance and cleaning is an important way to maintain the stable operation of the robot and reduce the probability of failure.

Except for large complex overhaul and maintenance, the daily maintenance is usually carried out by the factory staff. The main tasks are wiping the guide rails, adding lubricating oil, filtering and draining the pressure reducing valve, and daily inspection of each robot part. Other long-period overhaul, cleaning and maintenance work can be carried out by the factory’s professional maintenance engineers or Yubao’s maintenance engineers.
- Daily operation monitoring
As the robot carries out cyclic periodic movement for a long time, if problems occur, they will be amplified in the continuous movement, leading to more serious problems and thus affecting production.
Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the operation of the manipulator in daily monitoring to keep it in the best motion condition. Problems are overhauled in a timely manner to reduce the cost of repairs needed and minimize the impact on production.
Daily monitoring includes checking the slide rail, power cable and other problem-prone areas before powering on and after powering off. Check whether the power cable is connected properly; whether the slide rail, housing, and robotic arm are broken or unsuitable. After YUPA robot starts working, check whether each part is running normally; whether there is an alarm on the display. At the same time, by the running sound of YUPA robot, we can judge whether the robot is broken or sticky. If any problem is found, we can deal with it in time, so as to reduce the probability of robot failure and ensure the stable production of the production line.
